Cricketers belong to a fraternity. They play on the ground .."PLAY" at any given time any player is always close to other player. When I was in US, Year 2000-2001 , I had two Pak friends who would come to Diwali celebration, festivals and they loved it and we loved having them (Sadly not all Indian Muslim friends, would join) We all sit around sane table and joke on Firangi 😄

@kubssharma and we Pakistanis hate double faced hindustanis, which include 99.9% of them. Sehwag, Tendulkar, ganguly, harbhajan, nehra, gambhir, Sharma kohli etc all are hated and rightly so . We do respect akbar uddin owaisi type people though. And also Pakistanis love Shahid afridi more than any other cricketer he's hero here for different reasons. Pakistanis love the way he treat enemies of the country

I was also at Chepauk for the test match in 1999. In hindsight, my poor eyesight saved my heart. No one left the stadium and we gave the Pakistan team a thorough applause for a well-played game. Inzy was a different player; he made batting seem so easy. He talks of how batsmen reach their peak year 7-8 of their international cricket but I haven’t seen Inzy bat as well as he did during the 1992 WC.
