Didn't realize that 90 minutes went by me. I believe one can have a food for thought discussion with mari selvaraj for several days long. The important skill mari selvaraj has developed is his clarity of thoughts and asking the correct questions at the right moments and self introspecting a lot. I'm happy to hear him share his gem of thoughts in these interviews. I watched karnan day before yesterday and it proves that mari selvaraj will hold an important place in the future of cinema. I appreciate baddy for the nice set of questions and being an excellent host. Thanks film companion south for this wonderful interview.

Mari Selvaraj symbolized many things in that movie. I missed many of these interpretations. On the other hand. Selvaragavan is an overrated director and people spent lots of time decoding something in his movies (in my view, there is nothing to decode in his movies, mere waste of time.)

I don't know it's right platform to comment this. It is a long time question in my mind. In Hollywood when there is a movie about suppression of" Blacks" (example: Django unchained, 13 years a slave etc.) We celebrate those movie. When it gets Oscars we are happy and we feel pitty for Blacks just like"black lives matter". If the same did by Indian film maker He stamped as a Castist Film Maker or Caste fanatic In US for abolishing Slavery it took 100 years. For abolishing untouchability it took more than 50 years. But, still we Indians believing that there is no such caste based discrimination in society Exists with in the span of 70 years of republic how it's possible Can anyone say this hypocrite format

I think this movie pit parents against kids and vice versa. if the kids are smart enough, they can think for themselves. We do not need film makers to make so called "social awareness" for the masses. if a movie talks about education or work ethics etc. is all well and good (matters to everyone). This is preying on vulnerable kids and hope people are alert enough to see the propaganda.
